Senior Donor Advisor
Description
Greater Twin Cities United Way (GTCUW) seeks a relationship-driven Senior Donor Advisor to cultivate and steward a portfolio of major donors who are passionate about creating a stronger, more equitable Twin Cities community. This highly visible role will partner with philanthropists, business leaders, and community stakeholders to secure transformational investments that advance housing stability, food security, educational success, and economic opportunity throughout the region.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of approximately 150–200 donor households and prospects.
Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts, blended gifts, and planned gifts ranging from $10,000and above.
Generate between $500,000 and $1.5 million annually in philanthropic revenue.
Develop customized donor engagement and solicitation strategies aligned with donor interests and community impact priorities.
Collaborate across advancement, marketing, prospect management, and community impact teams to strengthen donor relationships and increase support.
Requirements
Five or more years of progressive frontline fundraising experience in major gifts, planned giving, or strategic philanthropy.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage high-net-worth individuals, executives, and community leaders.
Strong written, presentation, listening, and persuasive communication skills.
Experience utilizing donor databases, wealth screening tools, and fundraising metrics to drive strategy and results.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Salary Range and Employee Benefits
$110,000-$120,000
Hybrid work arrangement based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
