The WOC Awards

Welcome to the 2026 Annual WOC Awards! Each spring, the WOC community gathers to celebrate another year of championing women of color in fundraising and philanthropy and to honor incredible professionals through the WOC Awards.

This year, we honor Poonam Prasad with the Award for Excellence, Christiamilda Correa with the Shine Award and Damyury Almonte with the Spotlight Award. We are thrilled to now continue the tradition of the Corporate Award, which will go to Aspen Leadership Group and the Catherine Ferguson Philanthropy Award will be awarded to the inimitable Valaida Fullwood creator of The Soul of Philanthropy. We’ll join together for delicious offerings during the cocktail reception ahead of the awards ceremony. Following the Awards, we end the festive evening with our traditional cake, as this evening also marks WOC’s birthday each year.

You can also purchase journal ads to support the work of WOC and to congratulate each of our honorees. The WOC Awards promises to be a wonderful evening, and we look forward to seeing you there!
