Description

United States Lead the World Health Organization Foundation’s U.S. development strategy, building transformative partnerships that fuel global health innovation and equity. In partnership with Lindauer, the World Health Organization Foundation seeks an accomplished and ambitious leader to serve as its next Director of Development, U.S.

This senior leader will guide the Foundation’s U.S. fundraising strategy, cultivating transformational partnerships with corporations, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and foundations to advance WHO’s mission of promoting health, keeping the world safe, and serving the vulnerable. This position offers an opportunity to help shape the future of global health philanthropy. The ideal candidate will bring at least eight years of fundraising leadership experience and a deep understanding of the U.S. philanthropic landscape.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a U.S.-based team of three, setting strategic direction and ambitious fundraising goals.

  • Develop and execute a U.S. fundraising strategy aligned with global revenue priorities.

  • Cultivate and solicit a portfolio of seven- and eight-figure donors and partners.

  • Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to integrate partnerships into the Foundation’s overall strategy.

  • Serve as a senior ambassador for the Foundation, elevating its presence and partnerships across the United States.

The salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000.
