Danelle Pinder
Mrs. Danelle P. Pinder was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a woman of faith who leads with love, compassion, and a deep commitment to serving others. She is a devoted wife and the proud mother of four daughters.
Inspired by her desire to provide a constructive environment where her daughters and their friends could grow, learn, and thrive, Mrs. Pinder founded Excellence & Ambition Inc. Out of that vision emerged a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through entrepreneurship, workforce development, the arts, and mentorship.
The organization's signature programs include the Youth Entrepreneurship Program, which teaches networking, confidence building, soft skills, professionalism, and small business development; Youth Build Community, which focuses on workforce development and economic empowerment by providing industry-recognized certifications and apprenticeships; The Arts Program, which provides training in photography, videography, editing, visual arts, and dance; and the Sisters’ and Brothers’ Circle, which offers ongoing mentorship, emergency resources, and mental health first-aid support for participants.
In addition to leading Excellence & Ambition Inc., Mrs. Pinder is the Founder of D. Pinder Enterprises LLC, where she provides workforce development training for adults and consulting services for emerging nonprofit organizations. Through her workshops and consulting practice, she helps nonprofit founders build the structure, systems, and organizational foundations necessary to launch, grow, and sustain impactful grassroots and community-based organizations.
An expert in her field of youth development, workforce development, nonprofit management, and community engagement for over 30 years, Mrs. Pinder earned an Associate of Arts in Sociology from the Community College of Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Organizational Management, with a minor in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Maryland University College.
As a visionary leader and social entrepreneur, Mrs. Pinder is committed to expanding economic opportunities for underserved communities. In the coming years, she plans to scale the impact of Excellence & Ambition Inc. nationally and globally, creating innovative pathways that empower future generations.
