Aspen Leadership Group is pleased to partner with the Bob Woodruff Foundation in the search for a Director of Strategic Partnerships – Western Region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Strategic Partnerships – Western Region will expand and deepen the corporate and foundation funding relationships of the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) nationwide, and especially in California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Colorado. The Director will lead new business development with Fortune 500 and other large companies, family offices, and foundations, positioning BWF as a trusted partner that connects corporate giving to vetted, high-impact programs serving the veteran community.
They will be a high-performing fundraiser with demonstrated success in both nonprofit fundraising and corporate sales. The Director will be a proactive hunter — comfortable with high-volume cold outreach to senior-level decision makers, building pipelines from scratch, tailoring compelling pitches, and closing multi-million-dollar partnerships.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least eight years of progressive experience in corporate fundraising or B2B sales, ideally within a national nonprofit or cause-driven organization, is preferred for this position. The Bob Woodruff Foundation will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds.

Salary Range and Employee Benefits
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
