Lead Seattle Rep’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, advancing its mission, expanding philanthropic impact, and elevating theater as a defining part of public life in the Pacific Northwest. In partnership with Lindauer, Seattle Rep is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer to guide its next chapter of philanthropic growth at one of the nation’s most respected regional theaters. Reporting to the Managing Director and partnering closely with the Artistic Director, this strategic and creative leader will shape a comprehensive fundraising strategy that fuels productions, education programs, community engagement, and the forthcoming Act II of the Campaign for Seattle Rep. The Chief Advancement Officer will oversee a talented team of 11 and work collaboratively across departments and with the Board of Trustees to deepen philanthropic partnerships while cultivating the next generation of supporters.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Establish a long-term fundraising vision and multi-year campaign strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead and modernize annual, major, principal, and planned giving programs while strengthening donor pipelines.
Manage a portfolio of high-capacity prospects and support executives and volunteers in cultivation and solicitation.
Build and execute strategy for Seattle Rep’s fundraising events, including its $1M+ annual gala.
Oversee best-practice development infrastructure, ensuring strong systems, processes, and accountability.

Salary Range and Employee Benefits

The salary range for this position is $170,000 – $200,000.
