Nikita Desai
Nikita Desai is a Senior Philanthropy Advisor at Robin Hood Foundation, where she leads the Women's Collective — an invitation-only giving collective and philanthropy learning lab for women who want to deepen their impact in New York City. A first-generation American who immigrated from India, Nikita has spent more than 20 years building her career at the intersection of women's leadership and social change — with organizations including the Asia Foundation and the World Bank, and rooted in her early experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia. She holds an MA in International Policy Studies with a gender specialization and an MBA from IE Business School, which she completed as a Fulbright Scholar. She brings both a global lens and a New York City anchor to her work, and speaks five languages. She also serves as Co-Chair of Amplify Her Foundation's Leadership Network, a community that shapes her thinking on what it means to lead, mentor, and sponsor the next generation of women making change.
