Do you love the creative spark that makes paid media campaigns sing, and the strategy that makes them scale? Avalon Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Paid Media Manager who can blend creativity, analytics, and innovation to deliver digital advertising campaigns that inspire action and drive results. As part of Avalon’s award-winning full-service fundraising consulting agency, you’ll partner with leading nonprofits in environmental protection, animal welfare, social justice, and the arts.
You’ll shape paid media creative and lead paid media strategy, from big picture planning through flawless execution, helping our clients raise millions to positively change the world. We are a remote workplace with team members working from home offices located across the United States. Occasional travel may be needed for client meetings, conferences, or team gatherings.
Responsibilities
Own the strategy: Translate client goals into high impact digital media campaigns across search, social, CTV, linear TV, programmatic, and emerging platforms.
Bring campaigns to life: Partner with creative teams, oversee pixels & tag implementation, and launch campaigns with precision.
Develop compelling creative: Collaborate with copywriters and designers to shape paid media ads that inspire action and resonate with target audiences.
Optimize relentlessly: Monitor performance, test and refine targeting, placements, and know what levers to pull to maximize results.
Lead partnerships: Build strong relationships with media vendors, negotiate added value, and identify new opportunities.
Stay ahead: Spot industry trends early, pilot new tools and formats, and keep clients ahead of the curve.
Collaborate & inspire: Work hand-in-hand with client service, creative, analytics, and ad ops teams to deliver campaigns that delight our clients and their audiences.
Requirements
For If you’re our ideal candidate, you’ll bring at least 3+ years of experience running paid media campaigns, a proven track record of delivering measurable results, and ensuring campaigns launch on time and remain on budget.
You’ll also bring: Hands-on expertise in media buying and planning, including launching and optimizing campaigns across Meta, Google, Microsoft Ads, CTV, programmatic and other niche publishers. Experience integrating advertising with landing pages, donation platforms, and CRMs (Salesforce, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Classy, Springboard, Luminate Online, etc.). Solid understanding of ad operations, UTM tracking, Google Tag Manager,, pixels, conversion events, and performance reporting. Strong analytics skills using tools like Google Analytics, Excel (pivots, vlookups), and navigating ad dashboards to track KPIs and guide optimizations. Comfort working with collaborative platform and tools (Teams, SharePoint, Monday.com, Zoom).
Preferred: Google Ads or Meta Ads certifications. Salary Range and Employee Benefits
Our compensation budget starts at $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Benefits include: employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid leave, remote work reimbursements, employer-paid life and disability insurance, and a safe harbor 401(k) plan.
