Description

The Individual Giving Consultant will work closely with the client’s leadership and Global Simon Group to build, implement, and optimize an individual donor foundation from the ground up. The consultant will provide strategic guidance and execute on operational elements of the fundraising plan, with a focus on digital campaigns, CRM setup, and donor journey design. All work is remote. GOAL: Build a lightweight, scalable individual giving foundation and execute two key campaigns to jump start donor engagement. The consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables over a 6-month period. Project will not exceed 100 hrs of work.

Responsibilities

1. CRM Set-Up & Starter Reports (Oct/Nov)

2. End of Year Digital Giving Campaign (Nov/Dec)

3. Donor Stewardship Framework + Templates (Jan 2026)

4. Women’s History Month Giving Campaign (Feb/March)

5. Final Tools & Wrap-Up (March)

Requirements

We are looking for a consultant who brings a combination of strategic insight and tactical execution, along with deep experience in the nonprofit fundraising space. All work is remote.

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in individual giving or fundraising strategy, preferably in healthcare or social impact

  • Proven experience configuring and using CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, EveryAction)

  • Demonstrated success planning and executing multi-channel giving campaigns

  • Strong writing skills with an ability to craft compelling donor communications

  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment

  • Understanding of donor lifecycle strategies (moves management, LYBUNT/SYBUNT, etc.)

Preferred

  • Familiarity with racial equity or health equity frameworks

  • Experience supporting start-up or scaling nonprofits

  • Ability to offer light graphic design or content development support for campaign assets. Ability to work with the marketing and communication team on campaign assets.

Salary Range and Employee Benefits

+$80/hr with the opportunity for contract extension and rate increase upon completion of the first scope of work.
