Chantal Bonitto is an organizational leader in the space of diversity, equity, and inclusion and a seasoned fund development expert in the nonprofit sector. Her career has been dedicated to identifying and creating resources for institutions that benefit the most marginalized communities in our society.

Chantal spearheaded a new fundraising program focusing on next-gen philanthropists and donors of color at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) as the founding director of Inclusive Philanthropy in 2019.

Currently, Chantal is a Senior Managing Director of Principal Gifts at UNICEF USA, working to catalyze transformational resources to pursue a more equitable world for every child. Beyond her role at UNICEF, she is a Senior Consultant with the Inclusion Firm, working with organizations who desire systemic and cultural change at the intersection of Advancement and DEI. She also serves on the Board of Women in Development (WID) New York and Community Resource Exchange (CRE). She is on the Advisory Committee for WOC: Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy and is a co-creator of Women Writing Philanthropy: Writing Clinic Program with the Feminist Press. Chantal is a graduate of Oberlin College, a recipient of the Fundraising Strategy Certificate Program at The George Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, New York University, and a 21/64 Certified Philanthropic Advisor.

Chantal’s passion for justice, equity, and inclusion as well as the power of women’s philanthropy has positioned her to be an insightful and well-versed leader in the future of resource development.
