REPRESENTING THE ORGANIZATION
Dafina Bobo is the Search Operations Manager at GoodCitizen, where she helps foundations, nonprofits, and other mission-driven organizations navigate the complexity of high-stakes executive search. She partners with clients and search teams to design and manage thoughtful processes that support strong decision-making, meaningful stakeholder engagement, and a consistent candidate experience.
Dafina brings particular expertise in search project management, process design, and interview planning. She is especially skilled at anticipating challenges, bringing structure to complex searches, and coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups. Her approach is shaped by a longstanding commitment to equity, inclusion, and authentic representation. Throughout her career, Dafina has worked to identify and address bias in recruitment practices, expand access for individuals from systemically excluded communities, and create processes that balance efficiency with care and consistency.
Before joining GoodCitizen, Dafina served as a Search Associate at Koya Partners, where she supported executive searches across the nonprofit and social impact sectors. Earlier in her career, she led workforce development recruitment and enrollment initiatives at Year Up and worked in education, providing academic support and mentorship to young people.
Dafina holds a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College. Outside of work, she enjoys watching Broadway shows, reading tarot, and cooking new recipes.
